Sales Professionals (commission only)
We are looking for motivated new business sales professionals to work on a commission-only basis. Open Business Associates pays up to 30% commission on new business deals subject to a signed sales contract. A typical sales cycle is 90 days. You will have a background in enterprise solution selling and be comfortable presenting a business value proposition at management and board level.You will get all the technical support you need. Closing is up to you.

Web Developer (part time)
Attitude
Disciplined, teachable, keen, self-motivated. This role might suit a motivated school leaver or graduate wanting to work in the innovative part of IT.
Responsibilities
Maintaining and updating the OBA websites, working on customer web projects, developing Web 2.0 REST applications using ExtJS
Technologies
PHP, Javascript, XML
Salary
Retainer per month plus a percentage of any customer deals on which you work

Not specific although you must be prepared to travel and work onsite at customers when necessary
Technical Consultants (part time)
We are always interested in great people. But this is an x-Factor role.
To say you are passionate about open source will just be the start. You will need a magical combination of business and technical knowledge, an engaging ability to present and convince an audience with the motivation, persistence and flexibility of an entrepreneur. You will have a wide experience of open source technologies. And on top of all that you will be able to generate new or incremental business on your own or with a sales colleague.
This role might suite a capable, technical person that has though of starting their own business.
Salary
A fixed amount per day plus a percentage of all deals in which you play a significant role. Initial expectations are for about 7 days per month.
Earnings will grow in time depending on your ability to generate and help close business.
Technical skills
Everything and anything to do with open source.
Particularly interesting at the moment are people with backgrounds in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Workflow Applications, ERP, CRM, Web 2.0 Javascript and PHP.
